The note on the back read “This play centre was built with love especially for my buddy and helper Kevin Graff – Grandpa Ed, Christmas 1989”. It was pretty worn down when I found it at the Habitat for Humanity Restore. The outside is painted in French Linen (Annie Sloan), lightly distressed and sealed with wax. The inside has been refinished in Homestead Blue, Cathedral Taupe, and Buttermilk Cream (Fusion Mineral Paint). There is a fold out desk top on which I stencilled the alphabet.
